Just a Little County

No matter if it is in the kitchen or the great outdoors, it's time to put a little country in our lives.

Our flowers

Good Morning!
Oklahoma has experienced a very mild winter this year and because of that, our flowers in the Memory Garden have bloomed!  I wanted to share our tulips with everyone.  I've never grown tulips before and am quite pleased.  I am now hoping we do not get a really hard freeze.
So, take a look at these beauties.  I plan on having a few of them developed and framed for the living room, which we will begin next week.  Oh the joys of remodeling.

Are they not just beautiful?

THIS one is MY favorite!  Definitely going to have this one blown up and framed.

These started out yellow, but when they opened up turned orange!

They are everywhere

This is NOT enhanced.  The reds are really THAT red!
We also got some other flowers; 2 packs of a wildflower mix, delphinium, foxglove, and four o'clock that we will be scattering in the garden and letting nature take place.  I am so excited about this years garden.  I will be posting photos of what happens (if anything) so you can enjoy nature's wonder.

I also want to share these great photos I took of our dog, Jack.  Love them and yes, they are going up in the living room, as well.
Is he not just too cute?

Enjoy the rest of your day and weekend.  I'll post before photos of our living room makeover next week, and the process as we progress. Until next time.
